On a recent project I've been thinking about how micro-interactions would enhance the website design. The client wants the website to be clear, concise and very easy to use and at the same time let their fun personality shine through. So I wanted to explore doing this through animated icons. These wouldn't play all the time however. Just when the cursor hovers over the icon. How they would work on touch devices will need to be explored though...
I drew the icons in Adobe Illustrator and simply imported them into After Effects where I then created the animations. Just the Pin and the Boot at the moment.
